What kind of help do you need?

Need Urgent Help or Support?

If you are distressed or experiencing despair, try to speak to somebody now.

  • Is there a family member or a friend you could call?
  • Is there a neighbour or colleague who can help?

If you or anyone else is in immediate danger or harm, then please call the Police or Ambulance Service on 999

Do you need Urgent Medical or Mental Health help?

If you do then it is crucial that you contact the right person and that is most likely to be your GP. They will know where to get you the specialist help you need

If your GP surgery is closed their answerphone will direct you to the right place or you can call NHS 111

Use The NHS 111 service if you urgently need medical help or advice but it is not a life threatening situation

You can call the Mental health Crisis Helpline on: 
0800 915 4644
They are open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year for mental health advice and support

(Textphone calls for people who are deaf or hard of hearing are supported through the Text Relay Service by calling: 18001 0300 456 83 42)

Or to get someone to call you back text: 07717 989 024 (Please note this service is only available to adults aged 18 years and over)

Need to talk?

If you want to talk to someone about how you feel, what you’re experiencing or how to deal with someone else's behaviour, you can contact the Samaritans . The Samaritans offer a 24-hour telephone helpline
Call on: 116 123. You can also contact them via email but this can take several days to get a response

You can visit “Safe Haven” at Walpole House, Pickford Street, Aldershot, Hampshire GU11 1TZ, Open Mon-Fri (6 pm to 11 pm) and 12.30pm-11pm on Weekends and Bank Holidays
